A man is standing on the platform of a train station. As a train pulls out of the station, he sees a woman aboard it waving. The man runs over to the train, gets on it and kills the woman. He gets off the train, goes to police and confesses to the murder. He then walks away from the police station without consequence.
Why did the police let the man go?

Had the woman already framed the man for her murder in the past. Cause, according to the law, you cannont serve time twice. If so, then he already served the time for her murder, so he already served his time.
You nailed it on the head, Boesner.
He had just gotten out of prison after serving his full term. His wife had framed him for her “fake” murder and when he saw her he got on board the train and killed her.
You’re today’s winner.
