Is the chain actually tied on? Is it loose?
If it is, then the boy can just slip out of the chain and walk over to the door.
I’m guessing if it’s an over-sized chain and a boy then he can just slip out!
Id say the other possibility is the boy is an amputee, so he takes off his leg, puts it back on with the chain off, and walks out
Close call on answers here.
It is an “oversized” chain so yes, he can simply slip his leg out and walk to the door.
