  Zero – the 77 bottles are still empty as the Girl Scouts do not offer bottle redemption, nor do they offer/sell full bottles of soda in exchange. Carole will have to be satisfied with a tall glass of that bottled water in her kitchen.

  From the initial 77 bottles, she receives 15 full bottles (with two spare empties). From the 17 empties, she receives three more full bottles (with two spare empties). From the five empties she receives one final full bottle.
