Both the same. Let’s say we both started out at 1000 dollars per week. I received a 10% raise so now I’m making $1,100 per week. Rodger suffered a 10% cut so now he’s making $900 per week. This year, I (who makes 1100, remember) suffer a 10% cut, which puts me down to $990 While Rodger (who is making 900 per week) gets a 10% raise, so now he’s making – you guessed it — $990.00.
