Sickly Princess

A king has a beautiful daughter who he cherishes above all else. One day, she becomes deathly ill. Nobody in the kingdom could help her so the king announces that anyone from anywhere who can cure his daughter, could then marry her if he chose.

Now it just so happens that in another country about a thousand miles away, there were three brothers.
Each brother had a magic ability:

Brother number one had a magic mirror, and could see things happening all over the world.

Brother number two had a magic carpet. He could magically travel to any destination on earth in a blink of an eye.

Brother number three had a magical herb. With it, he could cure any disease.

So, as it happens, one day the brother with the mirror saw what was happening in the kingdom of the sick princess. He ran to his brothers and explained the situation. All three agreed to share their powers to help the princess, which they did.

Now here’s the question: Which one of the brothers more deserves to marry the princess, and why?

May be the brother who saw the sight of the princess lying ill… Coz had he not seen the sight, he wouldn’t have been able to tell the same to his brothers…

  • You are correct, Sid. The first brother got the ball rolling, so to speak.

    You are today’s winner.

  • Ice Princess

Really? I think that I would have said the third brother, because he was the only one who lost his item…correct? Well, I’m assuming that the princess had to eat the herb to actually feel better.

But yup, Sid, your answer makes complete sense.

  • I agree with Ice Princess. The third brother had to sacrifice his herb in order to cure the princess. Also, without the herb the princess would not be saved even if the first brother saw the princess lying ill.
