I think it is 64
Anant you are today’s winner!
The smallest number that is both a square and a cube is 1 – 1×1=1 & 1x1x1=1 The second number is 64 – 8 x 8 = 64 & 4x4x4 = 64.
A more general way to find these numbers is: x^3 squared = x^2 cubed. So 1^3 x 1^3 = 1 then 2^3 x 2^3 = 64 next 3^3 x 3^3 = 729 and 4^3 x 4^3 = 4096 5^3 x 5^3 = 15,625 etc.
