Riddle Dude, after the May riddle https://riddledude.com/history/ten-hup I still cannot figure out where this “ten hup” comes from. While not a military scholar, “Ten Hut” (short for attention) was what Sergeant Carter always yelled at PFC Pyle. “Hup, two, three, four” is completely different from “ten hut.”
Now today’s riddle – East – Starting by facing west, ninety degree toe turn right facing north, one-eighty degree toe turn facing south and ninety degree toe turn left facing east. Commanding officer approaches, “ten hut!”
i WOULD GUESS SOUTH
You are correct, Paul!
They would be now facing east. A right turn is 90 degrees, an about turn is 180 degrees, and a left turn is also 90 degrees. Therefore, the soldiers are now facing east.
You are today’s winner!
too easy, you gotta be dumb to get this wrong.
