In the Sahara desert, three men found a big 24 oz. jar full of water. Since there is shortage of water they decided to distribute the water among themselves such that they all have equal amounts. But they only have a 13 oz., a 5 oz. and an 11 oz. jar.
How do they do it?

Since there are three men and 24 oz. of water, each one has to get 8 oz.
1. First they fill the 13 oz jar.
2. The water from 13 oz jar is poured into 5 oz jar, till it is full.
3. That leaves 8 oz of water which is emptied in the 11 oz jar and one man takes it.
4. The water in five oz jar is emptied in 24 oz jar
5. The process 1 and 2 is repeated.
6. 8 oz of water left in the 13 oz jar is taken by the second man.
7. The water in five oz jar is again emptied in 24 oz jar, which will now have 8 oz which can be taken by the third man.
