A customer at a 7-11 store selected four items to buy, and was told that the cost was $7.11. He was curious that the cost was the same as the store name, so he enquired as to how the figure was derived. The clerk said that he had simply multiplied the prices of the four individual items.
The customer protested that the four prices should have been ADDED, not MULTIPLIED. The clerk said that that won’t make any difference, the result would still the same. Guess what RiddleDuders? He was correct. What were the four prices?

1.7775 was the price of each item. if u add 1.7775 4 times it equals 7 dollars eleven cents and if you multiply it by four you will have $7.11
Wrong, Eli.
These would be four different amounts that could be actual prices, such as $1.75 or $2.25.
Keep trying.
