  Answer:The two numbers are 31 and 24.
  solution-let the two numbers be x and y,
  by question,
  x y=55
  x-y=7
  therefore x=7 y
  by substituting x in x y=55
  7 y y=55
  2y=55-7=48
  therefore y=48÷2=24*
  sub y=24 in x=7 24=31*
