A man and a woman were driving in their car when it broke down. The man decided to go for help at a gas station a few miles back. He made sure nobody was in the car, rolled all the windows up, and locked all of the sedan’s doors. He went off, but when he came back, his wife was dead, and there was a stranger in the car.
No physical damage was done to the car, so tell Max how the stranger got in?

It says “he made sure nobody was in the car”, so I have to presume his wife was also outside the car. She probably had keys, so someone surprised her from behind, forced her to open the car and enter then he strangled her. Since it was broken down he couldn’t drive away.
While the man was gone, his wife went into labor and she died during childbirth. The newborn child is the stranger.
The car was a convertible with the roof open. Or maybe a Jeep with the top open?
Doh, Did this happen on Oct 18, 2010? Seems familiar.
I remember this one now, or one similar. But if no one was in the car, the wife wasn’t in the car
(She’s someone right?), so why did she give birth in the car?
CJS is today’s winner.
It is a terrible tale of a newborn and a woman who died in childbirth.
Brent, you are right. I am lazy and I put in new riddles that I find fun without doing the research. I am Dude 2.0 as well. I built this great site for Joey, but he died so I keep it going.
