she makes mashed potatoes
She makes a huge batch of french fries for the kiddies. Deep fried in vegetable oil, of course, to make them healthier for the youngsters.
She can even eat them and breast feed her sixtiplets or what ever 6 babies in one go is called !
Now that’s what I call a fair share!
BY the way, even if she had 6 potatoes and 6 children, giving them each 1 potato i not good enough to ensure an equal amount (no 2 potatoes are exactly alike).
Mashed potatoes must be carefully divided, breast milk carefully timed or better yet pumped out and divided), and frensh fries will be the most difficult to divide euqally.
And in any event, we indirectly used fractions.
The best and easiest answer for this riddle would be to give them each ZERO potatoes.
PS: I like to complicate things as any puzzle lover does :)
You’re right, Rool!!! We put them on Atkins!
Just kidding, the answer we were looking for was mashed potatoes, but extra credit goes to Ruthie Jean for French Fries. However, all of your insightful comments have proven that there is really no way to guarantee they each receive an precise amount, but weren’t all the different answers fun? Breast milk, huh?
