  I remember, so long ago, we used this mnemonic to memorize the value of a certain transcendental number. Hint: write down the number of letters in each word. Frankly I found the numbers easier to remember that this phrase.

  We used to memorise pi with “How I wish I could caluculate pi”. It didn’t go very far into the number, but it still helped.
